Lemon Pistachio Sour
Ingredients
Cocktail Ingredients:
• 1 1⁄2 oz Open Coast Gin
• 1 1⁄2 oz Pistachio Lemon Syrup
• 1 oz Lemon Juice
• 1 egg white
• Crushed Pistachios
Syrup Ingredients:
• 1 cup Pistachios Roasted, Shells removed
• 1 Lemon Peeled
• 1⁄2 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 cup Water
Directions
Cocktail Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in shaker and WET SHAKE (with ice) vigorously for approximately 15 seconds.
2. Remove ice from shaker and shake until frothy (15 secs)
3. Double Strain into your favourite coupe Glass
4. Garnish with crushed pistachios
Syrup Instructions:
1. Pulse/crush pistachios
2. In a pan, bring all ingredients to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5 min
3. Squeeze juice from the lemon into the mixture, remove from heat & strain
Details
Glassware: Serve in cocktail glass or coupes glass
Method: Shake and double strain
Ice: Served straight up
Garnish: Crushed Pistachios
